Please follow these directions for the following products to avoid leaks, clogs, and other issues. Failure to adhere to these practices may invalidate your warranty.
Seedling All-In-One Filling Directions
Recommended Needle Size | Ideal Fill Temperature | Capping Time |
---|---|---|
16-20ga | 90°F/32°C (thinner oils) – 135°F/57°C (thicker oils) | 3 mins or less (depending on viscosity) |
The fill target is asymmetrical; orient your devices the same way every time to avoid filling errors.
- Insert a blunt tip 16 to 20 gauge needle into one of the two filling holes on either side of the center airway.
Caution: Do not allow oil to enter the center airway, it is in between the filling holes. - The recommended oil temperature range at time of filling is 90°F-135°F. The ideal fill temperature will allow for filling and capping before the oil saturates the atomizer.
- Oversaturation from hot filling, thin oils, and/or slow capping will cause flooding, clogging and leaking.
- Do not overfill your devices! Fill to a maximum of 2.05mL or 1.05mL depending on your configuration. Overfilling may cause seal bulging and will force fluid through the atomizer.
- Cap within 3 minutes after filling. We recommend a shorter period of time for thinner oils. Immediately after filling, cap the device with the mouthpiece until it’s fully seated.
Seedling All-In-One Capping Directions
Capping time | Capping method | Minimum capping force | Maximum capping force |
---|---|---|---|
3 mins or less (depending on viscosity) | By hand or arbor press | 17-28lbs (8-13kg) | over 130lbs (59kg) |
PRO TIP
Orient the cap with the mouthpiece side over the fill holes to avoid capping errors
- Make sure the mouthpiece is properly aligned and straight. Press the mouthpiece down vertically (not at an angle) using even pressure, until you hear a click.
You can seat the mouthpiece by hand, but a light-duty arbor press and jig are recommended. Do not use a hammer or mallet.
If too much pressure (over 130lbs) is applied during capping, you can damage the device and the battery. Check the pressure carefully.
- You cannot remove the mouthpiece once it’s fully seated without damaging the cartridge or the mouthpiece.
- Depending on your oil’s viscosity, let your cartridges stand for between 30 minutes to 12 hours before using. During this time, the oil is priming the atomizer. More viscous oils will require more time.
FIFO (first in, first out) advisory:
Proper forecasting and inventory management are crucial for the best performance of battery products. Battery products that are not used within 1 year can experience battery degradation and discharge and may need to be charged before they are distributed. We recommend ensuring first-in, first-out inventory practices and not distributing battery products more than 6 months after delivery.
